Anthony Massari is a Graduate Researcher at The California Institute of Technology working on evaluation and improvement of building design technologies. Both simulations and experiments are used to assess existing and future design and construction elements. Under the direction of Thomas Heaton, Anthony works to enhance the performance of building structures in high seismic regions, as well as quantify the performance of the state of the art in building design being implemented in the United States today.

Since 2008, Anthony has worked as an Adjunct Professor at The New Jersey Institute of Technology where he teaches graduate and undergradute courses in the Civil Engineering Department.

Prior to joining The California Institute of Technology, Anthony also worked as a Senior Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti. Here he gained experience in residential, commercial, industrial and sports facility structural design around the world.
